This wall hanging (or table-topper) looks too good for being sooooo easy. If you can sew a straight line you can make this.   It really is just a 9-patch quilt pattern.  It works best if you  have a high contrast from one fabric to the other.  You can make it larger by just making several and sewing them together.

This is what you can get when you alter fabric placement and make 4 wall hangers and put them together in one throw.  58" x 58"
This quilt was made by Lynda W and given as a wedding gift.  She used 3 shades of sage for rails and one cream for shashings and background.
